We had a fabulous stay here - gorgeous location and accomodation! The room was beachfront - and the service was wonderful. The turn down service and fresh towels in the evening was a lovely touch! Breakfast on the patio was fantastic, the food was fresh and so delicious!

Being weary from previous reviews, my wife and I checked into Cheeca last weekend for a brief anniversary trip. Cheeca did not disappoint. We live in Florida and tend to do our vacation homework. There are no real beaches in the Keys, yet Checca gives you an opportunity to swim in the gulf with a gap in the sea wall. Both pools were clean and well staffed. Our cabana was awesome as was our attendant. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the grounds were spotless. Our oceanfront suite was spacious and one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in(domestically or international.) Open air bath and shower are a great touch. We found nothing out of place and EVERY person we encountered to be cheerful and accomdating. It started at the front gates and ended at checkout. Not sure it would be a great family getaway without a true beach but it exceeded our couples expectations and needs. We'll be back!

This is the best resort EVER! If you want a romantic getaway this is the place. I REALLY LOVE everything about the place... Every detail, from the way employees treat you to the decoration of the entire hotel. It's divine... real PARADISE! I had the best time ever and can't wait to go back and spend more time there!

My wife and I arrived at Cheeca Lodge and Spa last Saturday afternoon and were impressed as soon as we pulled up at the security gate. We were warmly greeted by Earl who, by the way, was super friendly and so helpful with recommendations for places to eat. He was truly a pleasure to get to know for the two days we were at Cheeca and should be recognized for his kindness and making our stay a pleasure. As for the rest of the staff, everyone we dealt with from the valet to the check in desk were also very pleasant and helpful with any requests we had. The room was incredible...from the high quality furnishings to the comfortable feel the room had overall. The soaking tub outside the shower on the balcony was so nice to relax in and the subtle lighting along with the privacy curtains was a great bonus. The pool areas, especially the adult pool, and the grounds were very secluded and very well maintained. This is truly a five star resort and we would recommend Cheeca Lodge to anyone. We are looking forward to another stay in the future.

This resort was beautiful! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay.. The staff was very professional and friendly. The resort has a resort fee but that includes many activities in the resort: golf, kayak, fishing, gym, bottled water and beach cruisers. No reservation required, just first come first serve. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple or for a family vacation.

I had done some research earlier in the week and found Cheeca Lodge & Spa on Luxury Link. So I suggested we stop there for lunch, instead of Little Palm. Although she was a bit reluctant, we stopped at Cheeca Lodge for lunch. As soon as we drove through the gate we were amazed at all the beautiful tropical landscaping. We had a wonderful lunch & excellent service from our waiter, Jean. After lunch I checked with the front desk to see if they had any rooms available. They had a few rooms left, so we booked the Premier King, Island view with the outdoor tub on the balcony. We loved the room with the Tommy Bahama type furniture. Later that evening we had a very romantic dinner outside looking out at the ocean and the torches along the pathway. Juliana, from the dining room, asked us if we were celebrating anything special. I told her it was our anniversary, and before we knew it, our excellent waiter, Charlie, was pouring us some Champagne. We had a great dinner of Stone crab claws & a fillet. Then they brought us a nice
dessert of chocolate covered strawberries on a plate that said Happy Anniversary! A very special Thank You to the restaurant manager, Gabriel Christopher for making our dining experience so incredible. We cant wait to come back.

We stayed in the beach bungalow. Extremely nice. Amazing privacy and views. Room was open and airy with lots of room and very clean. Secluded from the rest of the resort gave the feeling you were alone on an island. Rooms are large with wood flooring with a modern, clean tropical paradise feel everywhere. Breathtaking views. Private patio downstairs with outdoor bed and chairs overlooking the lagoon and ocean. Closed in private large patio with locking screen so you can leave the large sliding windows open all night without worry, letting the breeze in with flowing curtains. Shower was amazing in the large bathroom with double sinks and tile floor. Room had everything and more you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Impeccable service from all staff that seemed to go above and beyond to assist you. Highly recommend this Hotel!
